Amazingly enough, only 6 hours ago I was at one of the nicest homes I've ever been to since I moved to Los Angeles. I won't get too much into it but it was the house of Mark Hoppus from Blink 182. It was an event that my lovely wife arranged for us to go to. Initially I could feel the resistance coming through my skin wanting to say ughhhh, it's too late! I don't want to go! I've got work tomorrow, blah, blah more blah! But then it hit me. God will give us different opportunities to expose us to people and experiences that will better ourselves. Even after waking up at 3 AM yesterday I was eager to go. As we're driving through Beverly Hills, you can't help but to say wow! The houses are truly unreal. The scenery from the top of the hill is amazing. Everything about what I was seeing in front of me felt right at home. One of the awesome things is that I've always been able to receive spiritual insight at any place and time. This was no different. "THIS IS POSSIBLE...REMAIN PASSIONATE, REMAIN DEDICATED, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR OPPORTUNITIES," is what I heard to myself throughout the night. I could'nt help but to smile throughout the night as I enjoyed myself immensely, in addition to meeting some amazing people.

So what is the lesson here? Regardless of what your schedule is, what your scope of the world is, stretch yourself and seek bigger. Trust that the opportunity will come! It's not always easy but it will be worth it. If it's in front of you, it's a possibility for you. And the biggest lesson I've learned is that we put our jobs ahead of our own needs so much that, now is the time for us to reverse that practice. YOU NEED TO ALWAYS BE FIRST! In everything, take care of yourself in the best way, and the world around you will match the self love you're exuding.
